1 packet of active dry yeast for bread
1/2 cup (scant) of cold water
4 cups (scant) of all-purpose flour approximately
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of vegetable fat
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of butter
1/4 cup (scant) of olive oil
1 egg for brushing

Dissolve the yeast in cold water
Combine the all-purpose flour, olive oil, and milk
Mix well
Add the salt, vegetable fat, butter, and olive oil
Knead until a homogeneous dough forms, and if necessary, add more flour
The dough should remain soft and pliable at the center
Cover and let rise until it has doubled in volume
Mold into balls with the dough and place them on a floured baking sheet
Let rise for another 15 minutes and brush with egg
Bake in a medium preheated oven.
