2 cubes of chicken broth
1 large onion, cut into four pieces

1 tablespoon of water

Dissolve the baking powder in warm milk
Add the remaining ingredients to a blender, except for wheat flour
Pour into a bowl and gradually add wheat flour, mixing initially with a wooden spoon and then by hand
Place the dough on a smooth surface, dusted with wheat flour, and knead well, adding more flour if necessary until a soft dough forms
Divide the dough into two portions and place in 2 English loaf pans (28 x 11 cm) greased
Let rise for 1 hour, covered with a cloth, inside an oven turned off
Mix the egg yolk with water and brush the entire surface of the bread
Bake in a hot oven (200°C), preheated, for about 50 minutes
Serve warm
