2 cups of buttermilk
2 cups of fine fubá flour
1 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of melted butter or margarine

Mix the fubá, salt, and baking soda, then add the melted butter or margarine and buttermilk
Mix well
Pour into a flat ungreased baking dish, leaving no more than 2 cm of height
Bake in a moderate oven without letting it brown
When it starts to shrink on the sides of the pan, remove from the oven and brush with melted butter and return to a hot oven to glaze
Brush twice more to achieve a crispy crust.
