Activate the yeast in a little warm milk with sugar and all-purpose flour, then let it rest for an hour in a warm place
Next, start working on the dough with butter or margarine, whole milk, and salt until you get a light mixture
Add the prepared yeast mixture and work the dough some more
Separate the dough into small pieces, about the size of a walnut, and let them rest until they've almost doubled in volume
Make a hole in each piece and fill it with a generous tablespoon of guava jam
If necessary, cover the filling with a small piece of dough
Let the puffs rest for a bit and then bake them in a moderately hot oven after brushing each one with a little egg yolk
Let them cook for about 40 minutes
NOTES: You can use any other type of jam as a filling.
