Beat the egg with salt and add water, whisking continuously
Place the flour in a bowl, make a depression in the center, pour in the beaten egg mixture, and mix to form a dough (it should not be too hard)
Roll out the dough (thin) on a surface and cut into strips with a cup
Filling:
Mix everything well
Knead the cream cheese very well until it becomes smooth, without lumps
Place the filling in the center of the dough strips and form pasties
(If desired, you can also fill with cherries, plums, or your preferred fruit.) Steam in boiling water with salt and 1 tablespoon of oil
When the water starts to boil again and the pasties rise to the surface, remove them with a skimmer and place them on a wire rack
Then, place the pasties in a baking dish and top with melted butter or margarine
Serve them well hot, with fresh whipped cream (whipped cream) or a good meat sauce.
