Unroll the puff pastry on a clean, floured surface and cut it into 9 cm squares
In a large bowl, combine the salami and cheese
Fill each pastry square with about 1 tablespoon of this mixture
Fold the pastry to form the pinwheel, pressing the edges together with a fork to seal well
In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and fry the pastries in batches until golden brown
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels
Serve hot with mustard
