1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced (100 g)
2 duck breasts without skin, cut into strips (600 g)
2 1/3 cups of fresh or frozen peas (300 g)
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/4 cup of soy sauce (shoyu)
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced (100 g)
2 duck breasts without skin, cut into strips (600 g)
2 1/3 cups of fresh or frozen peas (300 g)
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/4 cup of soy sauce (shoyu)
1 tablespoon of vinegar
In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat and fry the onion and duck, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, until the meat browns
Add the peas and cook for another 5 minutes, until they're tender
Add soy sauce and stir for another 5 minutes, until it's dissolved
Add soy sauce, vinegar, and mix well to heat through
When serving, if you want to do as in the film, arrange the duck on two plates: one hot and one cold
Just like how it would be, in the words of the character who prepares it, 'balance with energy, flavor, and nature'.
