Season the chicken with salt and black pepper
Set aside
Place 1/4 cup of butter and chopped onion in a baking dish
Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes or until the onion is soft
Add the parsley and chicken
Cover and bake at the same temperature for another 13 minutes, stirring halfway through
In another baking dish, place the remaining butter and banana
Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until the banana is tender
Transfer the banana to the chicken's baking dish and serve
