1.5 kg of your preferred whole fish
1/4 cup of crispy bacon bits
4 potatoes, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons of thyme
2 onions, cut into cubes
Salt and pepper to taste

Place the bacon bits in a refrigerator and cover with paper towel
Cook in high heat for four to six minutes, stirring halfway through

Drain the bacon and set aside
Mix in the potatoes, half of the thyme, and some of the salt with the remaining fat from the refrigerator

Cover and cook in high heat for six minutes, stirring twice

Season the fish with salt, pepper, and the rest of the thyme
Mix the cooked onions with the mashed potatoes and reserved bacon

Place the seasoned fish on top
Cover and cook in high heat for eight to ten minutes

At the halfway mark, carefully flip the fish and stir the potato, onion, and bacon mixture
Serve with white rice.
