1 Preheat the oven to 200°C
Wash and halve the pears thoroughly
Using a small pastry blender, remove some of the pear's pulp and reserve it
2 Arrange the pear in a baking dish, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle cornstarch
Bake until the pear is tender
3 In a bowl, mix together the reserved pear pulp, chopped truffles, and brandy
Remove the pear from the oven and fill it with the mixture
4 Return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until the chocolate melts
