3 ripe pears

Grind the cashews or hazelnuts in a blender or processor coarsely
Place them in a container, mix with butter and reserve
Peel the pears, cut them in half; remove seeds and some of the pulp
Drizzle lemon juice over the pears to prevent them from darkening
Mix pear pulp with the nuts
Fill the pear cavities with this mixture and place them in a refrigerator
Put them in a preheated moderate oven (350°F) for 15 minutes
Remove from the oven; dust with confectioner's sugar and serve warm or cold.
