600 g of topside beef cut into strips
2 tablespoons of butter
1 large onion, chopped
1 tomato, peeled and seeded, chopped
1 medium-sized potato, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1/2 cup of warm water
2 bananas, sliced
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
Salt to taste

Melt the butter in a pan over low heat
Add the onion and cook until softened
Add the beef and cook for 5 minutes over low heat
Add the tomato and season with salt
Cook for an additional 5 minutes
Add the potato and stir well
Cook for another 5 minutes, with the pan covered
Dissolve the curry powder in the warm water and add it to the beef mixture
Cook for 5 minutes more, with the pan still covered
Add the banana slices, stir gently, and turn off the heat
Let it sit for 3 minutes with the pan still covered
Sprinkle with chopped parsley or cilantro.
