1 cup of caramel
1/3 cup of Karo or molasses
1/2 cup of crystallized fruit, chopped

Preheat the oven to a low temperature (150°F)
Place the popcorn in a shallow baking dish coated with butter or margarine and put it in the oven to keep it from getting cold
Brew the caramel with Karo or molasses over medium heat until it reaches a soft-ball stage
Remove from heat and add chopped crystallized fruit
Remove the popcorn from the oven and cover it with the fruit mixture
Mix well and place the popcorn in a rectangular, 31 x 19 cm baking dish coated with butter, pressing gently
Let it cool and cut into small squares
Get about 36 small squares.
