Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
Butter a dozen 7cm-diameter molds and reserve
In
a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring gently
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, whole eggs, and sugar
Add the melted chocolate mixture and flour, stirring well after each addition
Distribute the batter among the molds
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes, or until the centers are still slightly jiggly
Remove from the oven and let cool
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve warm, with vanilla ice cream if desired
