Remove the skin and seeds from the pumpkin
Cut into pieces and cook in a pot with water
After boiling, cover the pot and let it simmer for 10 minutes
Remove from heat, drain the pumpkin and, still hot, press it through a ricer. Reserve
Put the allspice and butter in a medium pot and bring to a simmer, stirring until they melt
Add the pumpkin, salt, and English seasoning
Mix well
When serving, reheat over low heat and add parsley
Serve 8 portions.
