8 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 cup (stick) of butter
1/2 can of heavy cream
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger

1 Peel the sweet potatoes, wash them in cold water, and cut them into small pieces
Cook them in boiling salted water until they're tender
Drain and pass through a low-heat skillet for 2 minutes to remove all moisture
2 Mash the sweet potato using a vegetable masher and place it in a bowl
Add butter at room temperature and mix in the warm heavy cream
3 Season with salt, black pepper, cinnamon, ginger, and stir well
Pass through a fine-mesh sieve to make it smooth and creamy
Place back in the pan and heat it slightly.
