Wrap the bacon in paper towels and microwave on high for 2 minutes
Let it cool. Reserve
Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and cheese
Crumble the cooked bacon and add it to the egg mixture
In a 20cm refrigerator-safe dish, layer the broccoli, salt, garlic, and black pepper
Pour the egg mixture over the top
Microwave on medium for 3 minutes, then increase heat to high and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the quiche is firm but still creamy
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving hot.
