1 pie crust

Filling:
4 slices of smoked bacon
2 cups of grated cheddar cheese (or plate)

1 1/2 cups of milk
1 large can or jar of palmito

Prepare the crust: Line the bottom and sides of a round baking dish with a diameter of 25 cm
Brush the pie crust with the egg
Chill in the refrigerator
Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°C)
Cut one of the palmito stalks into 4 strips, chop the rest
Fry the bacon slices until crispy and dry
Drain well and crumble
Sprinkle over the pie crust
Sprinkle cheese on top
Cover with chopped palmito
Beat eggs lightly with milk
Pour over the top
Arrange palmito strips on top
Bake for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown and puffed
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving
Serves 6 people.
