1 cup whole milk

2/3 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
6 tablespoons Porto wine

1 cup whole milk
'3 large eggs, lightly beaten'

Bathe the slices of bread in milk and then in egg
Fry 3 slices at a time in a large skillet with heated vegetable oil
Reduce heat to prevent burning and fry both sides until golden
Remove the slices with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels
Dip the slices in melted butter and cinnamon mixture
Arrange in a baking dish and drizzle with Porto wine
