Melt the butter
Combine the flour and mix well
Add the milk gradually, stirring constantly until thickened
Season with salt and black pepper to taste
Place a small amount of this filling in each of 6 individual molds
Break an egg into each mold
Sprinkle each mold with 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
Bake in a preheated oven (170°C) until the cheese is golden brown and the eggs are cooked to desired doneness
Serve in 6 portions.
