Cook the cabbage in boiling salted water for 7 minutes
Fry the bacon and remove it
Combine brown sugar and flour with the bacon grease; mix well
Add water, vinegar, and seasonings
Cook until thickened
Add the onion, crispy bacon, and cabbage; heat through
Serve 4 to 6 servings.
