Cut the onions into 1/2 cm ringlets
Separate into rings
Heat plenty of olive oil
In one bowl, whisk together milk, flour, and salt
Dip onion rings into the milk mixture, then coat in flour mixture
Repeat the process, passing each ring twice
Fry in hot olive oil for 3 minutes or until lightly golden
Drain on paper towels
Serve immediately
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
