Mix all filling ingredients
Heat over low heat in a saucepan, stirring constantly until thickened
Remove from heat and let cool, stirring occasionally
Place 2 tablespoons of filling on each roll of puff pastry
Fold both sides to the center, overlapping them
Close tightly
Fry the rolls in hot oil one at a time
Sprinkle with sugar and serve
Make 7 rolls.
