5 large sweet potatoes (1.5 kg)

400g sausage, cut into 0.5cm thick slices

For the dressing
2 cups of mayonnaise (400g)
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of hot sauce

In a large pot, place the sweet potatoes, cover with 2 liters of water, season with salt and cook over high heat until they are tender (about 25 minutes)
Drain, peel, and cut into 2cm cubes
Place the sweet potato in a salad bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix gently
Set aside
Prepare the dressing: in a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well
Add the dressing to the salad, mix carefully, and serve immediately
