1 small papaya, ripe (about 1.2 kg)
1 tablespoon of garlic
1/2 small cabbage, finely chopped (400 g)
1 crushed clove of garlic
2 small carrots, grated coarsely (200 g)
1 medium onion, grated coarsely (100 g)
1 teaspoon of salt or to taste
1 pinch of black pepper
3/4 cup of mayonnaise (150 g)
2 slices of bacon (30 g)

Cut the papaya into cubes and place them in a bowl
Sprinkle with garlic
Add the chopped cabbage, crushed garlic, carrots, and onion
Season with salt and black pepper
Add the mayonnaise and mix
Transfer to a large salad bowl
In a frying pan, fry the bacon slices over high heat until golden brown and crispy
Drain, chop, and spread on top of the salad
Serve immediately
