Mix the butter or margarine, flour, sugar, and salt until a crumbly mixture forms
Add the cheese and mix with a fork
Add the nuts and shape into a ball
Refrigerate until firm
Roll out the dough on a floured surface, using a rolling pin, to a thickness of about 2 cm
Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter, place on a baking sheet with a distance of 2 cm between each piece
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges start to brown
Let cool and serve.
