Combine the cheese, butter, salt, black pepper, and green onion
Sift the flour, re-mix well, and add to the cheese mixture
Mix until a pliable dough forms
Divide the dough into two parts, shape each into a bar about 2 1/2 cm in diameter
Wrap in impermeable paper or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
Cut into thin slices and bake on lightly greased trays in a moderate oven for 10 minutes or until lightly browned
Serve warm, or let cool before serving.
