Mix the breadcrumbs, seasonings, and onion; add the melted butter or margarine and mix well
Cut the sausages in half lengthwise; fill with the filling; wrap each sausage in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes; or grill for 10 minutes
