Preheat the oven
In a pan, melt the butter or margarine over low heat
Add the flour and salt gradually, stirring constantly
Add the milk slowly, stirring always until it thickens
Remove from heat
Add the cheese and stir until melted
Arrange the crackers in a 25 x 15 x 5 cm baking dish
Layer the chicken slices on top
Add the sauce
Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes
Garnish with crispy bacon and tomatoes
Serve in 4 portions.
