In a bowl, combine the parsley and shallots and mix well
Transfer to a large platter and reserve
In another bowl, season the sardines with lime juice, garlic, and salt
Let marinate, stirring occasionally, for at least an hour
Drain the sardines, discarding the marinade, and arrange them on a double grill
Grill over medium heat for 5 minutes, turning halfway through
Flip and grill for another 5 minutes, then serve with parsley and shallot salad
