Cook the peas in the beef broth and blend everything in a blender or fine strainer
Bring to a simmer again, let it boil, and just before serving, mix in the butter
If too thick, add a little milk
Grate the cooked eggs on the coarse side of a grater and sprinkle over the soup
If desired, substitute grated eggs with toasted bacon bits with butter.
