Heat the oil in a large pot, then brown the pork or beef
Remove from heat
Add the garlic, onion, and remaining ingredients
Stir well
Add hot water to the pot and bring to a boil
Add seasonings to taste
Separate the cooked meat into bite-sized pieces and set aside
Blend the vegetables in a blender with some of the cooking liquid
Return the mixture to the pot, add the browned meat, and simmer for a few more minutes.
