3 or 4 slices of bacon
5 cups of water
2 cups of chopped cabbage
1 diced carrot
1/2 cup of uncooked rice
2 beef bouillon cubes
garlic and pepper
shredded Parmesan cheese

Chop the bacon into small pieces
Combine water, cabbage, carrot, and beef bouillon cubes
Let it simmer and add rice
Cook until it's tender
Taste and adjust seasonings
Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese over each plate and serve for four people.
