8 cubed potatoes

1 well-beaten egg

Cook the potatoes until they're tender
Drain them
Combine the milk and beat very well
Season to taste
Mix the butter with the flour, add the egg and 1/4 cup of milk
Let it fall into spoonfuls (of chalice) in hot milk
Cover the pot and cook for another 10 minutes
Serve immediately
