3 tablespoons of butter
4 tablespoons of chopped parsley
4 tablespoons of chopped onion
1/2 leaf of bay leaves
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
2 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of cooked shrimp
1 cup of heavy cream
white wine, if desired

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat
Add the onion, bay leaves, salt, and pepper
Cook for 5 minutes
Add the lemon juice and chicken broth
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes
Let it cool slightly, then stir in the cooked shrimp
Stir in the heavy cream just before serving
If desired, add a splash of white wine
Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
