4 cups of carrots, peeled and chopped

Melt the butter in a soup pot
Add the onion and let it brown
Add the flour and stir well
Add the broth and bring to a boil
Cook for 2 minutes
Add the carrots and cook until tender
Blend the mixture and serve hot
