1 cup of beans
1 liter of water
4 slices of bacon
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons of salt
1 dash of pepper
1 cup of peeled and cubed potato
1 cup of chopped fresh parsley (with stems)
1/2 kg of peeled and diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
2 cups of hot milk
1 cup of beans

Combine the beans and water in a large pot
Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat
Let it rest for 1 hour
Cook the bacon and onion until they're tender
Add them to the bean mixture
Cover and cook for 1 hour
Add all the remaining ingredients, except for the flour and milk, and let it simmer for another 30 minutes
Thicken with the flour dissolved in a little water
Add the hot milk
Serve 12 liters.
