Chop the collard green leaves into small pieces and wash them thoroughly
Fry the garlic in the olive oil until it browns
Add the chopped collard greens and mix well
Add all the fava beans at once and cook, stirring over low heat for 5 minutes
Gradually add the warm water, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming
After adding all the water, let it simmer for 15 minutes and season with salt and black pepper to taste
Serve hot.
