3 carrots

3 cups of hot water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of flour
3 cups of milk
to taste
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Cook the vegetables in boiling, salty water with the butter until they're tender
Mix the flour with a little milk
Add to the remaining milk and pepper with the vegetables
Cook while stirring until thickened
Cook slowly for 5 minutes
Garnish with parsley
Serve 6 to 8 people.
