6 large sweet potatoes
3 cups of water
1 cup of chicken broth
1 cup of sour cream
2 cups of red wine or claret
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Cinnamon to taste (optional)

Peel the sweet potatoes and remove the seeds
Reserve the peels
Cook the sweet potatoes in 2 cups of water until they are tender
Mash the cooked sweet potatoes with a fork or potato masher
In another pot, cook the sweet potato peels in the remaining water, then add to the mashed sweet potatoes
Add chicken broth and sour cream that should be at room temperature
Mix well until the soup has a smooth consistency
Gradually add red wine and lemon juice
If desired, sprinkle the soup lightly with cinnamon
Serve approximately 2 liters.
