2 chicken broth tablets

6 large, ripe tomatoes, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, chopped

2 tablespoons of wheat flour

Dissolve the chicken broth tablets in boiling water
In a pot, combine the tomatoes, onion, water, salt, and pepper
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes
Mix the tomato paste with flour dissolved in 1/3 cup of cold chicken broth, and add to the tomatoes with the remaining broth
Continue cooking over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, to prevent scorching
Remove and blend in a blender
Chill in the refrigerator for several hours
Pour chilled soup into thermoses
Serves 3-4 portions.
