3 large ripe mangoes
1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tablespoons of brandy
1 cinnamon stick
1 nutmeg whole

Combine the sugar and water in a medium saucepan
Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves
Remove from heat before the mixture starts to boil
Let it cool and refrigerate until chilled
While the mixture is cooling, peel the mangoes and remove the pits
Blend the mangoes with the other ingredients in a blender
Add the cooled mixture and blend until smooth
Pour into an ice cream maker and churn until frozen, or freeze for at least 1 liter.
