500 g of sweet red grapes

Wash the grapes and remove any seeds or stems
Combine the grapes with 1 cup of water in a saucepan
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes
Remove from heat, let cool, and strain through a fine-mesh sieve
Mix half of the sugar with the grape juice and whisk well
Set aside
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat
Incorporate the sugar into the egg mixture, beating after each addition
Add the grape juice to the egg mixture and mix gently in a circular motion
Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1 hour and 30 minutes
Remove from freezer and blend in a blender for 3 minutes
Return to freezer and freeze for another 1 hour and 30 minutes, then blend again
Freeze until firm, then serve with whipped cream.
