500 g of wheat flour
One tablespoon of active dry yeast
One and one-third cups of sugar
Two eggs
One and one-quarter cups of butter, softened
One teaspoon of ground cinnamon
One teaspoon of ground cloves
One teaspoon of grated ginger
One teaspoon of ground cardamom
One nutmeg, grated
One-fourth cup of sugar, to be melted
To taste: vanilla extract

Sift the flour onto a surface and create a hole in the center
Add all other ingredients except for the melted sugar
Set aside
Melt the sugar until it forms a caramel, then let it cool
Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth
Roll out the dough and cut into cookies using proper cookie cutters
Bake at a low temperature without letting them brown.
