Mix the blackberries with the confectioner's sugar, water, and brandy
Let it simmer for 10 minutes or until it thickens slightly
Add the chopped nuts
Fill tall glasses alternately with sorbet, sauce, and whipped cream
Serve 2 1/2 cups or about 45 spoons.
