Bring 5 liters of water with one spoonful of salt to a boil and cook the fettuccine
In a frying pan, melt the butter with lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper over medium heat
Add the sardines and cook for five minutes, turning them occasionally, carefully not to break them apart
Drain the pasta, add the sauce (reserving some sardine pieces to decorate the plates) and mix well
Distribute the pasta mixture among the plates, decorate with reserved sardine pieces and fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
