In a large pot, bring 3 liters of water to a boil with 1 tablespoon of salt over high heat
Add the pasta and cook, uncovered, until al dente (10 minutes)
Prepare the sauce: in a medium pot, place all the ingredients over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the tomato is very soft (about 10 minutes)
Drain the pasta, transfer to a bowl, add the sauce and mix
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately
