Combine all the ingredients
Place the fish or chicken in a bowl and pour the marinade over it
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 4-6 hours, or overnight
Every now and then, stir the marinade to coat the meat evenly
Use about 1 1/2 cups of marinade for 1 1/2 kg of fish or chicken.
