6 slices of bread, toasted on one side
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
3 tablespoons of mustard
6 tablespoons of pickles, finely chopped
12 medium sausages
6 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

Mix the butter or margarine with the mustard and spread on the un toasted side of the bread
Drain the pickles well and divide between the slices of bread
Cut the sausages in half, first vertically, then lengthwise, or cut into rounds, and arrange over the pickles
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake until the cheese is slightly melted
Serve 6 toasts.
