1 tablespoon active dry yeast

Slice the starfruit into thin rounds
Place in a pan
Add enough water to cover
Sweeten to taste
Add cinnamon
Cook until the starfruits are tender
Drain, reserve the syrup and let cool
For the cake mass, beat the butter with sugar until a white cream forms
Add eggs one at a time, beating continuously
Add flour sifted with yeast alternately with milk
Place in a round, well-greased mold
Top with cooked starfruit
Then place in the oven until a toothpick comes out clean
Remove from the oven
Use the syrup from cooking the starfruits to cook 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Cook stirring until thickened
Pour over the cake while the glaze is still warm
